By accessing our Site, browsing, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use this Site or purchase our products.

1. ELIGIBILITY AND USE OF THE SITE

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You agree not to use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

2. CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS AND ACCURACY

Many of our retractable screens are custom-manufactured to the exact specifications (millimeters/inches) provided by you.

  • Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for providing accurate measurements, color selections, and configurations. We manufacture strictly based on the data you submit.

  • No Modifications: Once an order enters production (typically within 24 hours of placement), it cannot be altered, canceled, or refunded. Please double-check your measurements using our official Measure Guides before finalizing your order.

3. DIY MEASUREMENT AND INSTALLATION DISCLAIMER

Retract Screens provides premium D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) products designed for self-measurement and self-installation (DIY).

  • No Liability for Errors: We provide comprehensive "Measure & Fit Guides" for assistance. However, we are not liable for any product fitting issues resulting from improper measurement or incorrect DIY installation.

  • Damage During Installation: Any structural damage to your property, door/window frames, or to the product itself during the installation process is your sole responsibility.

4. PRICING AND PAYMENT

  • Currency: All prices listed on the Site are in USD (or as otherwise specified based on your geo-location checkout) and are subject to change without notice.

  • Taxes & Duties: Prices may or may not include local sales tax or custom duties depending on your shipping destination. Any international import duties, clearance fees, or local taxes levied by your country’s customs authority are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Payment Security: We accept standard secure payment methods (Credit Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Shopify Payments). We do not store your financial details; all transactions are processed through encrypted third-party payment gateways.

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

  • Turnaround Times: Estimated production and shipping times are provided as a guideline only. Because each product is custom-built, unforeseen production or logistical delays may occur. Retract Screens is not liable for any financial loss or inconvenience caused by delayed deliveries.

  • Risk of Loss: All items purchased from us are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

6. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND WARRANTY

  • Custom Products Return Policy: Because custom-made screens cannot be resold, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for custom products due to change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or incorrect measurement.

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your product arrives damaged due to transit or has a manufacturing defect, you must report it to our customer support team within 7 days of delivery with photographic/video evidence. We will repair or replace the defective part or product at our discretion.

  • Warranty: Our products come with a limited warranty covering structural frame mechanics (excluding normal wear and tear, mesh damage from pets/accidents, or wind/weather damage). Please refer to our separate Warranty Policy page for detailed terms.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, digital downloads, installation videos, and software, is the property of Retract Screens and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit any part of this Site without our express written permission.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retract Screens, our directors, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including without limitation lost profits, property damage, personal injury, or product failure arising from your use of our products or Site.

9. GOVERNING LAW
